Smart Magazines

A smart magazine holds several different ammunition profiles loaded
at once, in separate reservoirs, and fires whichever one is currently
"active." The DSI M91 Warden is the flagship example -- its adaptive
magazine and voice-controlled ammo selection are its whole identity.

Selecting a profile

    ammo <weapon> = <profile>

This represents speaking the ammunition profile's name to a weapon
whose feed system recognizes voice-selectable switching. You can only
select among profiles already physically loaded into the magazine --
this never conjures new ammunition, and a profile you haven't loaded
can't be selected.

Switching takes time

In active combat, switching consumes your next combat action, and the
weapon keeps firing whatever was already active until the switch
completes (one combat round, for the Warden) -- there is no instant
mid-fight reindex. Outside combat, with no combat round to spend, the
switch completes immediately.
