Some NPCs can offer informal paid work through ordinary interaction.

Ask an appropriate contact about a gig or work using directed speech. If
they offer you a job, accept it by nodding.

There is no separate `job` or `accept` command.

INTRODUCTORY COURIER WORK

Courier work gives you a real physical bonded parcel and a real destination.
Delivery may be to a person or to an assigned dead drop.

The exact assigned parcel matters. Delivery follows physical possession:
the person who actually completes the delivery receives the physical
bearer-token payout.

Current introductory courier jobs give you 30 real-time minutes from
acceptance to complete the delivery.

That clock is real time. Logging out, disconnecting, or a server reload does
not extend it.

If the deadline expires, the Contract expires without payout and the bonded
parcel self-destructs wherever it physically is. An assigned dead drop is
also retired.

Your hands do not need to be empty to accept courier work. If both hands are
occupied, the parcel is carried normally rather than forcing you to unwield
equipment.
